Next to the Bible the Catechism of the Catholic Church is essential for helping us grow in our knowledge and love of God and his Son, Jesus Christ. More than just a catalogue of sterile doctrines, the Catechism is, as St. John Paul II described it, a "symphony of the faith" - an organic synthesis of the essential contents of the Catholic faith.
